Please note: I really hate spam. I have filters set up to automatically blacklist and delete multiple forwards, etc. I'm not interested in extra web marketing, new website stuff, "incredibly hot stock tips", multi-level marketing, various prescription drugs, or anything else.

Help Wanted:
I am seeking sales help for Pennsic War. Dates are July 30- Aug 15, 2010. I set up on Sunday Aug 1, and we open on Monday Aug 2. I close Friday Aug 13, about 8 pm. Tear down on Aug 14. I want all helpers there on Monday Aug 2 to set the schedule. If you like playing in people's hair, and can have a good time doing it, we should talk.
General Requirements: MUST have long hair! Not "collar length" long, but to at least the middle of your shoulder blades. Applicants should be friendly, outgoing, and smart. You should be a self-starter and a fast learner, who believes in showing up to work on time, clean, and in your right mind. A friendly disposition with a tendency to flirt is excellent. If you can't walk up to a complete stranger and start talking, this isn't for you. Attention to detail is important. Previous hairdressing experience is strongly preferred. Some knowledge of semi-precious stones is helpful. Must be over 18, over 21 preferred. Ability to get along with a sometimes grouchy boss is good. Note: The boss (me) has a strong aversion to drama.
Pennsic Requirements: Pennsic or Ren Faire references are strongly preferred. Looking for 1 or 2 helpers. I'm in space #15, across from Odessey Coffee, and near the barn, shower house, flush privies, and store. Oh yeah, I have a shade tree too. I'm generally open from 9a-9p and of course, midnight madness. I split the day in to three 4-hour shifts so we can all get out of the booth and have some fun. Pay is commission against hourly, and I feed & water you while you're here. Hairdressing experience preferred. We like to flirt, and we have a lot of fun at this event. I joke that my stock is rated G, but my staff is rated R. MUST be familiar with the SCA and have appropriate garb. I'm not fussy about your chosen place or period, but no hoop skirts, farthingales, or ridiculously puffy sleeves. They suck up too much space in the booth. I'm fairly liberal, anything from old norse, to greek, or just a general tunic and trews is usually ok, but loads of bright metal trim, too bright pastels, and neon colors won't cut it. I can't believe I actually have to say this, but cleavage must be appropriately contained. I'm definitely not a prude, but a containment field weak enough to allow for near fallout is not appropriate. If a woman won't walk into my booth because she just elbowed her husband thanks to cleavage whiplash, it's too much. Pennsic has a very wide variety of people, if you're easily offended, you really don't want to work for me. That being said, I take care of my staff, I've been known to throw out abusive jerks, sometimes physically.
If you're interested, just e-mail me: kaelyn@circleworks.org with your experience and contact info.
