Bodice Lacers are used instead of grommets, and are are stitched to the bodice. The drillholes are pre-smoothed so they don't slice your thread. I reccommend leather backing, and #69 nylon thread. I also them make them large enough to use as a cloak clasp.
I'm not making any more of them, so what I bring to Pennsic this year is all I have. They will be on "fire sale" at $2.50 each. I have a few "speed lacers" as well.
